Notes: | Occupational uses allowed in the R-3 district shall be conducted in the main building, and persons conducting such occupations shall reside on the premises. Advertising signs shall not exceed one square foot and shall be nonilluminated. The expansion of home occupation uses existing prior to the effective date of the ordinance from which this section is derived by not more than 25 percent in area. | Off-street parking facilities for one-family and two-family dwellings shall be located on the same lot or plot of ground as the building to be served. - Finished Elevation Required before Occupancy of Building (all electrical, mechanicals, & plumbing in place this also includes but not limited to, all steps, all landings, pumps, etc. (The building must be completed and at this point ready to move-in)

CULVERT:
Sec. 40-3. - Installation of culverts.
- A permit will be required to install any and all culverts, bridges, and/or catchbasins in the Town of Lockport. The permit requirement is to protect the citizens of the Town of Lockport from the installation of inadequate and/or undersized culverts, which may cause drainage and flooding issues, and permit fees are intended to cover some of the cost of implementing the permit and inspection process.
- The permit fee for culvert installation shall be as follows:
- $50.00 for the first driveway culvert per legal size lot.
- $150.00 for all other culverts, bridges, and/or catchbasins.
- The permit shall state the length and width of the culvert(s) to be installed.
- The Town of Lockport will install one residential driveway culvert up to 25 feet per legal size lot. Said installation does not include changes to any existing driveways and does not include the materials necessary to install the driveway, which are to be provided by the property owner at his expense and in accordance with the sizing stated on the permit.
DRAFTING NOTES:
Sec. 12-48. - Floor slab elevation.
- To ensure the proper functioning of the gravity sewerage system in the town no floor slab of any dwelling or building shall be constructed below 12 inches above the centerline of the adjacent street or elevation shall be shown on the plans required in section 12-45.
