Permit Requirements
- Current stamped survey of property with all existing improvements.
- Engineer stamped plans
- 911 address
- Plot plan from a surveyor
- Drainage Plan (for properties with depth of 200' or more)
- Driveway/ sidewalk permit
- East or West Jefferson Levee District permit (if within 1500' of Mississippi River Levee or 300' of any other levee)
- HOA Approval (if applicable)
Notes
Dirt pad may not encroach into property setbacks.
Driveway permit must be applied for and obtained prior to pulling building permit. There are codes given by the department that need to be listed on the building permit.
