Building Requirments:

    1. LOT GRADING AND FILLING and INSTALLATION OF DRAINAGE CULVERTS - Shall be approved in advance by the Architectural Committee.
  4. Electric, Mechanical, Plumbing, Gas
  5. Tree Pruning/Removal Permit
  6. Water & Sewer Application
  7. Culvert Application 15" Diameter minimum, Specifications included in link
  8. Floodplain Development permit



Permits should be obtained from Diamondhead POA after approved permits from the City of

Diamondhead have been acquired. A copy of the approved City permit must be attached to the

POA’s application before review and approval can take place. The following is a list of projects

requiring such permits from the POA:

  • Lot clearing
  • New Construction
  • Tree removal
  • Utility building
  • Fence
  • Swimming pool
  • Roof replacement
  • Paint and siding
  • Flatwork – concrete slab, sidewalks, patios, asphalt drives, etc.
  • Decks

Parking Permit Request

  • Contractors/subcontractors and all other personnel working at a construction site are

expected to pay fines within 10 days. If fine(s) are not paid, the responsibility will become

that of the Builder of that site for which they work. If fine(s) are not paid within 60 days from

origin of fine, no further construction permits will be rewarded to that Builder until all

outstanding fines are paid in full.

Noises Subject to Time Restrictions – In violation from 10 P.M. to 7 A.M.

  1. Loud construction equipment and operations.
  2. Loud power tools and lawn equipment.
  3. Loud delivery trucks and loading operations.
  4. Exceptions to noise restrictions: 3. Any loud noise for which the General Manager/Architectural Committee has granted a permit including building permits, gatherings, etc
  • For Contractor’s Signs, the only sign allowed on Building Sites are the ones designated by the Property Owners Association. This is not a For Sale sign. It will identify the Address,Homeowner or Model Home and the Contractor
  • Park in driveways, carports or garages only, except with permit for overflow parking.   Vehicles over 10’ in height, dump trucks, and motorized construction equipment may not park in residential areas for more than 12 hours without city approval. Work vehicles may park on roadsides temporarily for actual work only.
